A Love Before Time was the end-credit title song of the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The song was nominated for Academy Award for Best Song in 2000. It was written by Jorge Callandelli, Tan Dun (music), James Schamus (lyrics), performed by Coco Lee. Coco Lee performed the song live at the Academy Award ceremony in 2001.
