The organisation was aimed at the influential in society, and the membership was dominated by businessmen keen to promote commercial links. Members included Frank Cyril Tiarks, a director of the Bank of England; Admiral Sir Barry Domvile; Admiral Sir Murray Sueter; and Prince von Bismarck.
However the organisation had a pro-Nazi leaning, as well as a number of fascist members, and was infiltrated by British spies Guy Burgess and Kim Philby.
