Antarctic Circumpolar Wave

The Antarctic Circumpolar Wave is climatologists' name for a belt of water around 60 degrees southern latitude. In this belt, regions of warmer and colder temperature in the ocean water move eastward, against the prevailing currentss in a cycle of 8 or 9 years.
