Archie Bunker

Archie Bunker was a fictional character from All in the Family, a classic 1970s television sitcom. He was a bigoted, blue collar worker played (to acclaim) by Carroll O'Connor. The show got most of its laughs by playing on his bigotry. Family members include wife Edith, daughter Gloria Stivic, and son-in-law Michael Stivic.
