Arthur Hendrick Vandenberg (March 22, 1884 - April 18, 1951) was a Republican Senator from the state of Michigan.
Born and raised the city of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Vandenberg was a reporter and newpaper editor before he entered politics. He served in the Senate for 23 years, from his appointment by the governor in 1928 following the death of Senator Woodbridge Ferris and election later that year, until his death, with long service on the Committee on Foreign Relations and as President Pro Tem and was involved in creating the United Nations.
Married twice, he had three children. He is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Grand Rapids.
