Asphalt Paving is the process of laying down HMA (hot mix asphalt), also called tarmac, as a layer of a road or parking lot. Most commonly performed using a free floating screed.
While modern cultural sensibilities often portray asphalt paving as an inimical force to history covering the paths and byways of yore. Asphalt in fact has a rich history of its own, reaching back through milennia.
