Beavertown is a borough located in Snyder County, Pennsylvania. As of the 2000 census, the borough had a total population of 870.

census of 2000, there are 870 people, 364 households, and 256 families residing in the borough. The population density is 436.2/km² (1,132.9/mi²). There are 394 housing units at an average density of 197.6/km² (513.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the borough is 98.62% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.11% from other races, and 1.26% from two or more races. 0.57% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 364 households out of which 30.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.9% are married couples living together, 7.4% have a female householder with no husband present, and 29.4% are non-families. 26.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 15.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.39 and the average family size is 2.88. In the borough the population is spread out with 23.7% under the age of 18, 5.6% from 18 to 24, 30.2% from 25 to 44, 23.7% from 45 to 64, and 16.8% who are 65 years of age or older.
