Black salt

Black salt (kala namak) is an unrefined table salt with a strongly sulfurous taste that is not actually black in color, but pink. It is used extensively in Indian cuisine as well as ayurvedic medicine and commonly sold in the form of a fine, almost completely odorless powder.
