Blue Crush, starring Michelle Rodriguez, is a story about four Hawaiian girls who dedicate themselves to the sport of surfing. Three of them are best friends, while one is the 14 year old sister of one of the three friends. On their way to trying to make it as professional surfers, the girls meet male antagonism, the pressures of competing against a professional champion and of work (as hotel maids), love and friendship.
They must also deal with traumatic experiences and hardship.
At the end of the movie, they reach their goal of becoming recognized in the world of women's professional surfing.
