Brewster Hill is a "census designated place" located in the township of Southeast in Putnam County, New York. As of the 2000 census, it had a total population of 2,226.

Geography

Brewster Hill is located at 41°25'22" North, 73°36'15" West (41.422880, -73.604277)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the area it calls "Brewster Hill" has a total area of 2.5 km² (1.0 mi²). 2.3 km² (0.9 mi²) of it is land and 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 11.22% water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there are 2,226 people, 756 households, and 591 families residing in the town. The population density is 987.9/km² (2,554.9/mi²). There are 777 housing units at an average density of 344.8/km² (891.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 96.50% White, 0.85% African American, 0.00% Native American, 1.35% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.40% from other races, and 0.90% from two or more races. 3.77% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
