British 1st Commonwealth Division
The
British 1st Commonwealth Division was a formation tha took part in the
Korean War. It was formed in July
1951 from British, Australian, Canadian and other Commonwealth units involved in the conflict. It was deactivated in
1954 as part of the drawdown of forces in Korea in the aftermath of the war.
