Cambria is a village located in Columbia County, Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 792.

1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.8 km² (1.1 mi²). 2.7 km² (1.0 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.04 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 3.67% water.

Demographics

\nAs of the
census of 2000, there are 792 people, 307 households, and 195 families residing in the village. The population density is 291.2/km² (752.0/mi²). There are 339 housing units at an average density of 124.7/km² (321.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 95.71% White, 0.25% African American, 0.63% Native American, 0.13% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 2.90% from other races, and 0.38% from two or more races. 6.44% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 307 households out of which 35.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.1% are married couples living together, 8.8% have a female householder with no husband present, and 36.2% are non-families. 33.2% of all households are made up of individuals and 18.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.58 and the average family size is 3.30. In the village the population is spread out with 30.1% under the age of 18, 8.0% from 18 to 24, 27.9% from 25 to 44, 19.4% from 45 to 64, and 14.6% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 35 years. For every 100 females there are 94.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 92.4 males. The median income for a household in the village is $38,750, and the median income for a family is $49,750. Males have a median income of $35,313 versus $22,109 for females. The per capita income for the village is $17,070. 6.6% of the population and 4.2% of families are below the poverty line.
