Camille Theriault

Camille Theriault (born February 25, 1955) is a former premier of New Brunswick. Born in Baie-Ste-Anne, he became a member of the province's legislative assembly as a Liberal in 1987. In 1998 he became leader of the governing provincial Liberal party and premier of the province following the resignation of Frank McKenna.

Theriault lost the 1999 provincial election, losing the election in a landslide to the Progressive Conservatives led by Bernard Lord. In 2001 he quit as Liberal leader.

Theriault is presently the chairman of the Transportation Safety Board.
