Cane Creek State Park is located near Star City, Arkansas at the edge of the West Gulf Coastal Plain and the Mississippi Delta region. The park is adjacent to the 1,675 acre Cane Creek Lake. At the far side of the lake lies Bayou Bartholomew, the world's longest bayou.
The park is characterized by rolling wooded hills, deep draws, and steeply sloping ridges. Visitors are able to observe the topopgraphy of two of the major geographic divisions of Arkansas in the same park.
