Christopher John (born
January 5 1960),
American politician,
has been a
Democratic
member of the
United States House of Representatives since
1997,
representing the 7th District of
Louisiana. He was born in
Crowley, Louisiana,
was educated at
Louisiana State University, and was a staff member for his father, a Louisiana state legislator, and a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives before entering
the House.
