Confédération Française Démocratique du Travail

The Confédération Française Démocratique du Travail (CFDT or "French Democratic Confederation of Work") is one of the five great French confederations of trade unions.

It was created in 1964 when a majority of the members of the Christian union CFTC decided on becoming secular. The minority kept the name.
