Dadabhai Naoroji
Dadabhai Naoroji (
4 September 1825-
30 June 1917) was a
Member of Parliament (MP) with the
British government (c.
1896). Naoroji was the first
Indian MP and, in his duties as an MP, was briefly assisted by
Jinnah. By
1906, Naoroji was
president of the
Indian National Congress; Jinnah served him there as a
secretary.
