Darwen

Darwen is a small town in the county of Blackburn with Darwen in England. It had previously been part of the Blackburn district of Lancashire, but when this gained independence it was renamed to include Darwen.

During the industrial revolution the town became a centre for textiles, which has now almost entirely vanished.

It is home to Darwen F.C.
