Des O'Connor
Des O'Connor is a
British singer and entertainer, born December 1st,
1932 in
London. He toured with
Buddy Holly and
Lonnie Donegan in the
1950s. He has appeared on numerous
television programmes from the
1950s right through to the
2000s, and was the butt of many affectionate gibes by
Morecambe and Wise concerning his singing talent - or lack of it - which he always took in good part.
