Des'ree

Born in 1970, Des'ree was one of Britain's most successful pop/soul vocalists throughout the 1990s. Her 1992 debut album 'Mind Adventures' spawned the minor hit single 'Feel So High'. She released a similar, but stronger, album in 1994, 'I Ain't Movin'. The attendant single 'You Gotta Be' hit Billboard Top 5 and was a hit in the UK three times. She contributed to the 'Romeo and Juliet' soundtrack in 1997. 1998's 'Supernatural' included the European top 10 hit 'Life'. Her 2003 release 'Dream Soldier' was considerably less successful.
