Dord
Dord does not actually mean
density. For five years,
Webster's New International Dictionary listed
dord as a word meaning density, but in fact the word did not exist and was simply a mix-up that occurred when
abbreviations were moved to a separate part of the dictionary. A copyeditor misread "D
or d" as a single word. There is no real word "dord" and it should not be used.
