Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is the local government body responsible for the administration of the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley, which is made up of the towns of
Dudley (where the council has its headquarters),
Stourbridge,
Halesowen, Brierley Hill, Amblecote, Sedgley and Coseley.
A part of the West Midlands administrative metropolitan county since 1974, the area is split between the historic Counties of Staffordshire and Worcestershire.
Dudley is divided into 24 wards and is represented by 72 ward councillors.
