East Papuan phylum
The
'East Papuan phylum'\ is a group of languages spoken amongst he islands east of
Papua New Guinea, including
Bougainville and the
Solomon Islands.
Although it was originally suggested that these languages form a family, more recent work has thrown doubt on this.
