Vibrato and Tremolo
Guitarists use these terms inconsistently with each other and with other musicians. A
vibrato unit
in a guitar amplifier produces tremolo, while a
tremolo arm
on a guitar produces vibrato. However,
finger vibrato
is genuine vibrato. See
