Emery started in 1946 and has grown until establishing a global market presence, travelling to many airports worldwide. Their system is backed up by a road system composed by a fleet of commercial trucks.
Emery had all its planes temporarly grounded on August 13, 2001. Emery has since ceased operating and has no plan of resuming operations. All of the cargo flying Emery used to do has been subcontracted to other airlines.
Emery currently uses Boeing 727 and McDonell Douglas DC-8 equipment to transport freight.
