Émile Reynaud

Émile Reynaud (December 8, 1844 - January 9, 1918), french science teacher, and responsible for the first animation films.

He created the praxynoscope in 1879 and Théatre optique in 1889, and projected the first animated film, the Octobre 28 1982 at Musée Grévin, in Paris, France.
