Everett is a borough located in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. As of the 2000 census, the borough had a total population of 1,905.

census of 2000, there are 1,905 people, 876 households, and 515 families residing in the borough. The population density is 687.4/km² (1,773.4/mi²). There are 967 housing units at an average density of 348.9/km² (900.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the borough is 98.43% White, 0.52% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.26% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.26% from other races, and 0.52% from two or more races. 0.52% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 876 households out of which 27.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.5% are married couples living together, 12.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 41.1% are non-families. 38.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 18.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.15 and the average family size is 2.79. In the borough the population is spread out with 22.9% under the age of 18, 8.6% from 18 to 24, 26.3% from 25 to 44, 21.6% from 45 to 64, and 20.6% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 39 years. For every 100 females there are 83.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 76.9 males. The median income for a household in the borough is $23,919, and the median income for a family is $33,819. Males have a median income of $26,953 versus $16,196 for females. The per capita income for the borough is $15,841. 19.2% of the population and 13.3% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 22.7% are under the age of 18 and 18.7% are 65 or older.
