Feudal clan

Feudal clans were loosely organized groups of people, ranging in size from large gangs to small armys, that would provide a basic form of government to the territories they ruled.

Historically, the feudal clans have played a large role. After the Tokugawa Shogunate in Japan collapsed, the country was ruled under a clan-like structure. Also, feudalism was dominant in the Middle Ages throughout much of Europe, ending with the Renaissance.
