Filgrave

Filgrave is a village in the Unitary Authority of Milton Keynes, England, though prior to 1995 it was in Buckinghamshire. It is located about three miles north of Newport Pagnell.

The village name is Anglo Saxon in origin, and means 'Fygla's grove'. In manorial rolls of 1241 it was listed as Filegrave.
