First War against Napoleon
The
First War against Napoleon was the first involvement by
Sweden in the
Napoleonic Wars. Sweden joined the
Third Coalition by declaring war on
France on
October 1 1805. The hostilities ended after a ceasefire at Schlatkow on
September 7,
1807 and the War was concluded by the
Treaty of Paris on
January 6,
1810.
