Funk and Wagnalls is a

New York City. It was incorporated by Isaac Kaufmann Funk and Adam Willis Wagnalls in
1890. The company published inexpensive editions of standard reference works like
dictionaries and encyclopedias.
Funk and Wagnalls' most memorable publication was The Standard Dictionary of the English Language in 1893 edited by Isaac Kaufmann Funk.
