George Bowering
Geogre Harry Bowering (
1935- ) is a prolific
Canadian novelist,
poet,
historian, and
biographer. He is one of a group of poets including
Frank Davey, Fred Wah, James Reid, and David Dawson who were toghether a the
University of British Columbia in the
1950s. There they founded the journal
Tish. He lives in
Vancouver B.C. and teaches at
Simon Fraser University.
