Gerry Hannah
Gerry Hannah (also known as
Gerry Useless) was a member of the militant environmental group
Direct Action also known as the
Squamish Five (and occasionally as the Vancouver Five). He received a 10-year sentence in 1984 for his part in the bombings of a Hydro-electric Substation on Vancouver Island and a Lytton Systems factory in Toronto. He was also a member of the
Vancouver punk band, the Subhumans, from 1977 to 1980. Gerry penned at least two classics of the genre, "Slave To My Dick" and ("we don't care what you say,") "Fuck You".
