Gooding, Idaho
Gooding is a city located in
Gooding County, Idaho. As of the
2000 census, the city had a total population of 3,384. The city is the
county seat of
Gooding County6.
The town is named for Frank Gooding, a local
sheep rancher who later became Governor of Idaho and a
US Senator.
