The lake covers 15 acres; its volume is 247 acre-feet and its maximum depth is 36 feet. Its shoreline is private except for two public access points, the Meridian Avenue N. right-of-way on the north shore and the N. 125th Street right-of-way on the west.
The Haller Lake Community Club at 12579 Densmore Avenue N. was formed in 1922 as the Haller Lake Improvement Club. It features a Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ installed in 1969. Northacres Park is a large forested public park on First Avenue N.E. to the east of the lake. Ingraham High School lies to the northwest across 130th Street and Lakeside School to the northeast at N.E. 145th Street and First Avenue, while Northwest Memorial Hospital occupies a 33-acre campus southwest of the lake on N. 115th Street.
