Geography

As of the census of 2000, there are 2,044 people, 652 households, and 560 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 422.0/km² (1,092.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 97.99% White, 0.44% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.29% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.24% from other races, and 1.03% from two or more races. 0.68% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 652 households out of which 40.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 73.2% are married couples living together, 9.7% have a woman whose husband does not live with her, and 14.1% are non-families. 11.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 3.7% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
