Herucalmo
In the
fictional universe of
J. R. R. Tolkien,
Herucalmo was the consort to Queen
Tar-Vanimeldë of
Númenor. Tar-Vanimeldë had little interest in ruling, and Herucalmo served as her regent. When she died, the throne should have gone to their son,
Tar-Alcarin, but Herucalmo usurped the throne and ruled as King
Tar-Anducal.
Upon Tar-Anducal's death, Tar-Alcarin finally succeded to his rightful throne.
