Hezron

In the Book of Genesis, Hezron is the name of two men.

• In Genesis 46:9, Hezron is a son of Reuben and the founder of the Hezronites.
• In Genesis 46:12, Hezron is the founder of a family and an ancestor of Jesus Christ, see also Matthew 1:3.

Hezron means enclosure.
