Highland Beach is a town located in Palm Beach County, Florida. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 3,775.

census of 2000, there are 3,775 people, 2,192 households, and 1,227 families residing in the town. The population density is 2,974.6/km² (7,705.7/mi²). There are 3,677 housing units at an average density of 2,897.3/km² (7,505.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 98.33% White, 0.37% African American, 0.05% Native American, 0.37% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.11% from other races, and 0.77% from two or more races. 2.97% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. The average household size is 1.72 and the average family size is 2.15.
