John de Lancie

John de Lancie (born 20 March 1948 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is a character actor best known for his role as recurring guest star Q on the various Star Trek series. de Lancie has a son Keegan de Lancie who is also pursuing an acting career and appeared with his father in one of the Q episodes.
