Jonathan Meier
Jonathan Meier (born: c.
1983) has received some
media attention, as a result of his padayatras (see:
Mahatma Gandhi). In
2002, Meier
walked 1300km (from
Ames,
Iowa to
Washington DC), in order to attend a peace rally. He is currently walking, across the
United States, in support of the presidential candidate
Dennis Kucinich. This latest Padayatra began
October 17,
2003, in
Portland,
Maine.
