Kablam!

Kablam! is the title of an animated series that ran on the Nickelodeon TV channel from 1996 to 2000. It featured a collection of shorts done in wildly different animation styles, and bridged by the characters of Henry and June, who introduced the shorts and had their own wacky high-jinks.

Regular Kablam! Shorts

• Sniz and Fondue - a pair of unidentifiable rodents who often got on each other's nerves but were ultimately the best of friends
• Prometheus and Bob - a claymated segment featuring the mission logs of Prometheus, an alien (in the classic tall, lanky gray style) who comes to Earth to try to teach the local caveman all manner of things, from the use of fire to the act of ice skating. The result is usually a failure.
• Life with Loopy - the life of twelve-year-old Larry and his strange life with his naïve but adventurous younger sister Loopy. The animation style for this segment was very unique and rather bizarre.
• Action League Now - filmed in "Chuckimation" (the characters/props are moved by unseen hands, or thrown from off camera, interspersed with occasional stop animation), a set of superheroes (played by custom-made action figures) fights crime in suburbia despite the handicap of being total idiots. The four superheroes are Thunder Girl, who has the ability fly; Meltman, who has the ability to melt; Stinky Diver, who has the ability to Dive (his name derives from the fact that most of his diving takes place in toilets); and The Flesh, described in the ALN! introduction as "super-strong and super-naked".
