census of 2000, there are 469 people, 200 households, and 126 families residing in the village. The population density is 244.7/km² (632.2/mi²). There are 213 housing units at an average density of 111.1/km² (287.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 99.79% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.21% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.64% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 200 households out of which 31.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.0% are married couples living together, 5.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 37.0% are non-families. 33.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 17.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.33 and the average family size is 2.98.
