Kinta is a town located in Haskell County, Oklahoma. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 243.

census of 2000, there are 243 people, 104 households, and 68 families residing in the town. The population density is 148.9/km² (388.2/mi²). There are 131 housing units at an average density of 80.3/km² (209.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 82.72% White, 0.00% African American, 12.35% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.41% from other races, and 4.53% from two or more races. 0.82% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 104 households out of which 26.9% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.8% are married couples living together, 6.7% have a female householder with no husband present, and 33.7% are non-families. 29.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 20.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.34 and the average family size is 2.91. In the town the population is spread out with 22.6% under the age of 18, 9.5% from 18 to 24, 25.1% from 25 to 44, 22.6% from 45 to 64, and 20.2% who are 65 years of age or older.
