Korarchaetota (also said Xenarchaea or Xenarchaeota) is a phylum of Archaea. These organisms are only known from 16S rDNA sequences obtained from environmental samples. Currently, no cultivated species of Korarchaeota is known. Therefore, the biological properties of these organisms are completely unknown.
