Lafayette, New Jersey

Lafayette, New Jersey is in Sussex County, in the Skylands Region. It is named after the Marquis de Lafayette (1757-1834), the French general and statesman who served in the Continental Army (1777-81) in the American Revolution.

It is crossed by State Route 15, and is close to State Route 94.
