Larry EchoHawk

Larry EchoHawk is a politician from Idaho. He is a Pawnee Native American and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served as attorney general of the state in the early 1990s, and in 1994 became the U.S. Democratic Party candidate for governor, raising speculation that he could be the first Native American governor in the history of the United States. He was defeated, however, by Phil Batt.
