Leeuwarderadeel (population: 10,650) is a municipality in the northern Netherlands, in the province of Friesland. The municipality covers an area of 41.38 km².\n \rThe municipality of Leeuwarderadeel consists the following towns, villages and townships: Bartlehiem, Britsum, Cornjum, Finkum, Hijum, Jelsum, Oude Leije, Stiens.
