Lemba

Lemba is a
loa worshipped in
Brazil and
Haiti.
The
Lemba or Lembaa are also a tribe of people in sub-Saharan
Africa. It was proven by
genetics that they are, as they claim, descendants of the original
Jewish people. Specifically it was proved that amongst them were people whose genetic "fingerprint" matched that of
Kohanim, a genetically distinct subsection of Jews who have been traced far into ancient history. They speak
Venda.
