Lempäälä
Lempäälä is a municipality in southern
Finland with around 17,000 inhabitants. The municipality is located south of city of
Tampere. The first written account of parish of Lempäälä is from
1430. The church of Lempäälä is named after
Saint Birgitta, and is from the end of
15th century.
Finnish novelist Yrjö Kokko lived in Lempäälä, and is buried in the grave-yard.
